Meet Melissa

Hi! I have been an Occupational Therapist, working with children with ASD and other developmental disabilities, for 30 years. I graduated from Boston University in 1994. Since then, I have worked in many schools, private clinics and homes. I am a certified autism spectrum disorder clinical specialist who is driven to create individualized transitional programs for adults on the autism spectrum. Transitional programs focus on incorporating my clients' strengths and interests into activities of daily living, social, leisure and vocational activities. My true passion has always been program development. 

 

​Crafting has always been my creative outlet. I have been using sublimation as my main medium of choice.​ I utilize the sublimation technique to  create  a vast variety of items that are unique and personalized.  Mugs, cutting boards, coasters and t-shirts are only a small sample of items that can be customized. I am also very passionate about dog training. I have trained my American Staffordshire Terrier mix, Murphey, to become a therapy dog. We have spent hours together bringing peace and love to autistic adults.​​
